Our Story
Broussard's Bayou Co. has been making Cajun specialty foods in Pensacola, Florida since 1996. We are a small USDA-inspected manufacturer, which is a fancy way of saying we make food the slow way: by hand, in real kettles, with real cooks who know what they are doing.
Our roux gets stirred until it is the right color. Our jalapeños get wrapped one at a time. Our chickens get deboned by people who learned how to do it from people who learned how to do it. This is food made with care, patience, and pride.
We started serving local stores along the Gulf Coast and now produce frozen Cajun specialties for grocery, wholesale, club store, foodservice, and private label customers. This online store is our way of getting bayou food to your table wherever you are.
