Born & raised in South Louisiana, Carl & Cory Broussard learned the art of Cajun cooking from their grandfather over weekends where generations of loved ones come together to share stories, laughs, & good food. In 1996, on the foundations of 3rd generation techniques, the brothers opened Cajun Specialty Meats – a gourmet market featuring fully prepared, Cajun-styled entrees. By 2005, the business had outgrown the 2200 square foot strip mall location.
Cory & Carl Broussard began opened their first Cajun Market on the foundation of small town values & home cooked meals. Over a 2 decades later, Cajun Specialty Meats continues to provide quality products based on 3rd generation recipes.
Cajun Specialty Meats first opened as a Cajun Market in Pensacola, FL in 1996.
Today, Cajun Specialty Meats still supplies their original products & seasonings.
Where We Are Today
Today, Cajun Specialty Meats has grown into a multi-faceted, wholesale & retail food processing facility, operating out of a 20,000 square foot, state of the art, USDA processing plant. After a decade of success, Cajun Specialty Meats continues to operate on the same small-town values: commitment, loyalty, and hard work.
